I like bass .. I own both the ATH-M50X and the DT-770Pro 80 headphones.. bulky the 770's maybe.. but they are like if the M50X's where just that bit better.. =p pretty much in all ways ..other than portability, which the DT770's suck for.. both are good headphones for fans of bass in your budget range.

I use my M50X's as my OTG headphones and use my DT770 at home .. I'd use my DT-880's more but my wife grumps about hearing them for the other room somehow..

they fit slightly loosely (not a huge problem but they can come off easily) but Shure 840 earpads are more comfortable than the stock ath pads (imho) ..this is what I have on my M50X's.

Thanks guys! I ended up going with the ATH-M50x as it best fit my budget.
