I'm looking to get my first desktop set up but I'm having some difficulty choosing between the Stax srs-2170 with an HRT music streamer II, or a Hifiman EF2A with upgraded tubes and a pair of He-400s. I'm leaning towards the Stax because I'm interested in the whole electrostatic thing, but it is a little bit more expensive than the Hifiman set up. If someone who's tried both could compare/contrast them for me, or if someone could explain to me why one might be better than the other, that would be fantastic. Thanks.
