Whoever took that photo has got balls. I don't feel comfortable to pull my Omega apart anytime.

It was already like that. On that particular pair (I think no. 133, originally used in the Stereophile review), later on the drivers were replaced with SR-007 units, but the original drivers were supplied in the package separately, so they only needed to be opened up for the pictures.

Spritzer owns them, and they were working just fine. He may have used it for repairing another set.

Hello all,
Have SR Omega SN 114.
Also have SR 007MKll. It is broken compared to the Omega. ( just my HO of course )
Had the SR007. Also broken, IMHO, to the SR Omega.
Compared the Omega to the SR009. Felt no need to ever get a SR009.
To be fair, have not heard the SR009s.
I'm almost 70, and hoping the SR Omega outlives me.
IMHO, it is that good.

That is VERY interesting.

I have been considering getting either the 009 or the 009s long term, but perhaps these will be the more interesting headphones to get.
