I definitely do so far. X9k is technically amazing, but the Omega is remarkably natural and sounds real, while being astonishingly refined. Bravo!

i believe there are some folk like ES labs out there who are able to fix the mesh stator Omega.....shall we compile a list? Pls add on if yall know other options!

Before I had kids I listen to them almost daily. Now two kids, special occasion as I have to pack everything up. My oldest broken my 77 inch OLED. So taking extra precautions.

So I swapped the Omega earpads from my hybrid to the Omega (since my omega came with some cheap generic pads) and put X9000 pads on the hybrid. It was a noticeable improvement for the 007 hybrid to have X9000 pads on it. Conservatively I’d say it brought the hybrid to within 5% of the Omega which is substantial.

I’m kinda wondering if I should try X9000 pads on the Omega like @GYLIND and see what that does. The Omega pads don’t breathe as well X9000 pads which is also a reason to switch.

It's kind of a pain in the rear to get those pins out though…

I use only my SR Omega. 4-5 sessions /week. My SR007mkll sounds broken in comparison. As did my SR007, which I sold years ago.

Has anyone auditioned the new 8000 amp with their Omegas? I have been using an SR T-1 amp for 30 years, and wonder whether the upgrade is worth it.

T8000 is not a good amp for the money. T1 with ccs mod is probably a better amp.

Ive heard the omega/t8000 combo and preferred the Mjolnir Carbon significantly to the T8000.

I think at T8000 price point if you’re thinking tubes the move would be headamp bhse or maybe the eksonic Areas (haven’t heard but based on similar design).
