My current cans are Grado SR-125i's. And while I get an enormous amount of pleasure from them, I want that upgrade. So my question is this, will I get more bang for my buck upgrading to 225i's or Senn HD595's?

the SR125 to the SR 225 is a pretty big jump. I have never listened to the HD595 so I don't know how they compare.

after listening hd595, I prefer my sr225, more impact sound signature and better speed (also treble, mid and bass), the hd595 beats grado in imaging and soundstage. if you want something in between, go for denon d2000
