HI,
 
I am not sure if this is the best forum for the question best here goes.
 
I do most of my listening now at night in bed. Due to convenience my source is either an Iphone 5 or Ipad Air with premium Spotify on extreme setting. 
 
I use a lightning adapter into a Pure i-20 and then into X-Cans V3 into HD650s, HD595 and SR80i (looking at getting closed cans as well).
 
Here's my question.....is there any point in upgrading my amp or dac? Can I squeeze better sound out of Spotify?
 
If I can would would be worth buying?

Is Spotify all you listen to?
There are now some external DACs that work with the IP5/Lightening.
The new AK10, The Vmoda one, Sony PHA1 and others, have a search on
the forums.
