Nice looking. Very nice. Unfortunately they're rear ported which precludes them as desktop nearfields in my case.

IceClass - you could look at a full range front ported style like the Fonken's - there are several different configurations either to DIY or buy from Planet10
 
They have excellent definition and range, especially in a nearfield use - and are sensitive enough to pair nicely with SET amps.

Old thread but updating. I’ve used ProAc Super Tablettes, Devore Super 8, and now Devore Nines. All were wonderful but the nines are my favs. No problem driving to loud levels.
