Fade on still crackles

On FW 1.0.012, I get the "fade-in" effect between each song no matter whether Esther is set to Fade On or Fade Off. The issue persists through Pinhole Reset, Force Recovery, and Re-Upgrading the Firmware. Does anyone else experience this?

I just reflashed. Check if there is a problem still

I had the same problem with fade in once on my basic firmware. I did a pin reset and force recovery and problem was solved

Finally, I find the reason. I have tried many different files, found the crackling sounds when switching between different sampling rate files, like when a 44.1kHz file is finished, skip to next 88.2kHz file, the sound would come out. But only about 1secs.
You please check whether it's the same condition for your heard crackling sound.

to me? Same sound same tone less bass impact. I can use this without mojo anytime

So you have both? I had the MoJo for a week and Loved the sound with my CIEMs. If this has the same sound like your saying I would much rather have this. Are the vocals smooth like the Mojo and the soundstage was what I liked a lot.

i had the luxury to A-B Esther and Esther > Mojo via Coaxial for a good 1 to 2 hours on 6 seperate occasions. My conclusion stands onlt for the Esther Vitality edition.

Just got Mojo in yesterday. Need a bit of time to see what I think vs. Esther Analog howdy. My first inclination is that Esther should be used solo. I'm looking at Mojo more for stacking with my iPhone or computer than with a DAP.
