I love how the wa6 sounds although with the hd650's that I am using it with I would like to hear a bit more attack and/or brightness .  Will the Sophia Princess rectifier really improve the wa6 in that respect or are we talking about a subtle improvement? I am looking for a rectifier tube that will make a night and day difference.  Is this the case with the Sophia? Would appreciate your knowledge and expertise!

The Sofia Princess Mesh is a decent upgrade, but if you really want to blow it out, find a new-old stock (NOS) Mullard GZ-34.  Look for a metal base from the 1950s.  There are probably 5 or 6 tubes I'd rate higher than the Sofia Princess.

I heard the RCA tubes are bad too, don't know that cause Quinn from thatsnazzyiphoneguy in his wa6 review said that the the RCA aren't bad at all.
