This thread reminds me of my old pet duckling, he was cute and lovable when little, and loves following me around and is quite playful and good-natured.

Then he grew up and got mean, attacking people with his monstrous bite, as well as crapping on everything he can get his ass on.... In the end, we had to give him away.

Moral of the story? I guess if you want loyalty and long-lasting relationship with your pet, go for a dog or something instead.
