If z3 and z3c have same hardware and mobo then how can z3c sound better?

They both should be the same....I am un aware of how better Z3c sound can be.

Yes I owned both Z3 and Z3 tablet. For around 8 months. Nope , did not put my hand on Z3+. I now have Note 4 Exynos...and I hate the thing to every last bit of it in audio quality. What a waste of WOLFSON DAC.

The very evidence of what I've said many times in this thread, it's more about the implementation....the consideration of the audio path than just the DAC. As Yoda would say, "a good DAC chip does not a good output make".

Too true ! That is why I freaking hate the Note 4 Expynos and Wolfson....the Note 4 with Snapdragon was much nicer, because it was the whole thing integrated, where as Exynos got a sloppy job from the engineer to just...make sounds, rather than tending to it real audio quality for music.

I'm need of volume because i'm hearing impaired (genetic) and this max volume now (15 steps) is not enough for Vsonic GR02 nor Denon D1001.

ThiniadI used to use an E6 paired with se535ltd reds(56ohms)before I purchased my se846(9ohms)with my Z3(d6603). I have rather sensitive hearing and the se535 definitely did not get loud enough for me on certain songs or when watching movies or shows that contain a lot of dialect. The E6 did a fine job fixing that issue for me. I no longer use my E6 after getting the se846 which sound beautiful and gets plenty loud on the Z3.

Can you tell me if the note 4 and the galaxy alpha sound the same? I dont know if i buy a alpha with exynos and wolfson or a Xperia Z3

I am sorry, I don't have note alpha. All I can say is that the Note 4 exynos and wolfson does not sound as good as Z3. Hopefully I helped.

Z3 got broken screen, and Sony was gonna cost me 200$ for repair....I gave it away to another country friend. Z3 tablet got 4G LTE gimped down by T-mobile so I sold it. Hence I got Note 4 for bigger screen. Though for music, right now I a, with NW-ZX2

If you search this thread my comparison between the z3c, HTC M7 and X3 is in here somewhere. Fwiw I find the X3 to be superior in SQ.
