Yet still you kept the XBA3s?

Can you elaborate a bit further, how important is the seperation and imaging of the UE700 to you?

If the UE700 is like blu-ray definition on a sharp TV screen, the XBA-3 is a VHS tape.  The EX600 has a clarity spike somewhere around 7kHz, but it doesn't have the sizzle of UE700 which is higher treble boost.

They sound okay, I want to give them a chance.  It's a hassle sending stuff back, but they really don't sound anything like UE700, CK10, ER-4, RE272.

If it was my first IEM ever, I'd like them.

The XBA-4 is better for your desires.  Not sure why you're considering the DBA-02, it will sound very close to your UE700, just like CK10, q-Jays, Vsonic R01, Nocs, Phiaton etc.

The CK10 (~$270) has better cables, looks and design, but the sound of the UE700 is very close, it actually has more air and lucid mids.

It all depends on what you want to specifically improve on in your UE700, and how much you want to spend.  If you like Sony, you could try the EX800ST / MDR-7550.

thanks for the clarification , i cant spend more then $200 , i was interested in this xba-3 cuz it was going for a cheap price at $180 , so thought its got 3 ba , should have improved over ue 700 which got two , but i think the twfk drivers are superior to any thing in the market , and the main thing is im worried about the build of ue 700 , once broke i dont want to break it again .
so i think i should stick to the ue 700 , may be triple -fi could be a way to go but its priced over my range .
thanks for the help , i will write back if i need help again , thanks .
