SONY WH1000XM3 - better than QC35 in noise cancelling?

What would be a good replacement of XM3?
The creaking noise is finally getting to me and would like a different option. I am looking for (in the order of importance):

1. Better SQ
2. Comfort
3. Battery life
4. ANC

One contender so far is MW65 while PX7 seems promising. Thanks.

I would guess the new Bose 700 but have not heard it

You don't really have any other great options at this time if you're 'allergic' to Bose. I am sure more competitive options will come, but for now things are still between Sony and Bose for anc.

Best bet is waiting to see what the XM4 is like next year. I'm looking forward to it as well. While I personally would take the sound signature of the 700 over the XM3 I would also say that I find the QC35 II very
noticeably more comfortable than both the 700 and XM3. Kind of Unfortunate that Bose went for a new design over comfort for the new model.

If you can hold out a little bit, the new Bowers & Wilkins PX7 sound promising. I returned my original PX's in favor of the XM3's, but the potential was certainly there.

I've been reading up on some previews of PX7 and they look quite promising. Since my last wireless headphones were P7W and loved them PX7 could be the one I've been waiting for! I don't know if I can wait two more weeks though

The PX7 is 310g? While that's not super heavy in the world of full sized headphones that's pretty hefty for one of these portable ANC over ears. Definitely have doubts that it'll compete with the QC35 on comfort, but I'll give it a try.

Sony wh-1000xm3 sounds differently connected to different phone, this seems Weird to me. I got them two weeks back and paired with Samsung A70 using LDAC, the bass was boomy with V shape, EQing made it sound like muffled. Almost gave up on it, but did try with LGV20 (LDAC) and wow sound changed from V shaped to almost natural, no boomy bass anymore.

I am surprised, how can SQ gets impacted when both phones running on LDAC?

That sounds very strange as both dac and amp are in the headphone so the only difference can be in the ldac signal the 2 phones send

I don't know how the A70 sound options compare to my S10e, but I'm going to assume something is enabled here or in whatever music app is being used.

I did play with setting a lot, it is exactly as you have shown on the screen. If not for V20, I will would have trashed this headphone seriously.

Sorry, I am allergic to Bose
You'd be doing yourself a disservice. The QC35 may be years old but it's still right up there with the XM3. The new 700 is a flop because it doesn't improve very much from the 35 and the increased clamping force, but the 35 is much cheaper and still worth considering.

I'm waiting for B&W PX7 reviews to drop. The PX was terribly uncomfortable but it had great sound so I hope B&W does better this time around.

First noise controll chart:
https://www.lesnumeriques.com/casque-audio/sony-wh-1000xm3-p45685/test.html

The last chart:
Black: default
Grey: passive isolation
Red: active isolation

Here is the noise canceling of Peltor X5A with SNR 37 dB !!!
https://remembereverything.org/my-top-6-noise-blocking-earmuffs-review/

The sony has much less noise cancelling

That's not how I read the respective chart and table. Take 8kHz - the Sony attenuates 45 db, the Peltor 40 db (and that's not measured but producer's figure) At the other end at 250Hz the Sony attenuates 30db while the Peltor 28,8db. And remember - the Sony is not an earmuff, but a headphone :)
