Still no A20 Series in North America

I am so surprised that we're getting close to Christmas and still no A20 series here.  Amazon.com has the A25 but only as a Japanese import.

Not that I am in the market for one but still surprised at the absence from this market.  Maybe Sony figured we wouldn't pay the higher cost for the noise cancellation and other minor features.  Strange they would offer all the colors for the MDR-100AAP headphones but not the matching A26 DAPs.  Once again Sony has me scratching my head!!

Maybe they are trying to clear out excess inventory for the A10 series before bringing the A20 series to market.

Just purchased a new A17 after a long time humming and hawing about which DAP to buy.
Hopefully, I'm going to love it.  Currently it's sitting attached to my laptop and is telling me to "please wait".

The ring remote from the WS613 would probably work if you could get one.

ok just tried to pair this ring thing to my a17, and it doesn't workLooks like  the HID bluetooth profile is required for the ring to work, and A17 only support a2dp, avcrp, and opp bluetooth profile.

Finally picked up the official Sony silicone case recently... really nice upgrade from the iGadgetz case, firmer material that doesn't stick in the pocket as much, tighter fit, button markings & it covers the upper buttons too- though I wish it did cover the SD slot and cable port... maybe doesn't totally justify the price difference but I think it's worth it if budget isn't the primary concern.

My Dignis Exi Case just broke after half a year in use. There is obviously a layer of plastic underneath the leather, which broke on the narrow spot above the buttons. now the case steadily creaks when i use it. i asked the seller for warranty relacement, i hope i will get a new one...

Edit: i never dropped it. I guess this happened while taking the player out of the case, which is nearly impossible (but works quite well with the included strap). Owners of the case should keep that weak spot in mind..

By the way i am using the Sandisk 200GB MicroSD now with my A15, works great!

  Leather Case will be better!

it is the leather case. there is plastic underneath the leather, which i didnt realize before.

This is good to know because I was planning to get that exact memory but wasn't sure if it's compatible with the A10 series. Thanks for the info

Das ist ein sehr guter Preis! (a very good price indeed). I can get mine for about 700Lei - that's about 165Euro. Well, I will invest in this now so I can have a part of my music collection in my pocket.

Ja, das dachte ich mir auch, dass das ein guter Preis ist

Prices seem to be falling rapidly. I bought a 128gb one a couple of months ago, which was 70 then (being cheap then in comparison) and is 50 now. maybe there will be 256gb variants soon?

I am fine with the 200gb for now, my entire collection fits in my pocket now and there's some space left.

I was happy to see a stock of colours for the A25 and 100AAP here in Australia. Not too hard for people to buy into some serious sound for $500 - $600.
This was at JB hifi here in Sydney, but they can order to the store for you so really no issues there.
