  I tested the device during midnight as I'm still in the burning  process and using the minimal input volume as possible. DSEE and Clear audio was turned off and only played MP3 track files. Screen display set to dimmest setting.  26 hours of playing and right now there's only one bar left.​

something is wrong.. mine always get more than 50 hours in 1 full charge. listening volume 14-15

I think so too, maybe his battery is defective

Maybe he has the battery saver option on? That only allows a full charge to 90% to help battery longevity, but it also dies faster. Wouldn't account for only 26 hours but it may be part of it.

I've noticed that the DSEE HX function goes through the battery quite fast on my A17. Maybe it's the same for the ZX100.

It should for all players. What I've noticed is that playing Hi-Resolution files drain the battery the quickest.

I have a ZX-1 It does drain fast with playback on Hi Res file.. But on Pioneer XDP-100R playback on Hi-Res files battery life still very gd.

I bet the pioneer would sound better due the blnced architecture... dul DAC, dual mp... blanced TRRS

I think you got the Pioneer XDP-100R confused with the Onkyo DP-X1

Sony has already implemented dual dac/ dual mono designs in some of their HiFi Systems (i.e. HAP S1).
 
Although they all use TI chips. I think there is a good chance sony may ditch their S-Master HX for a more conventional set-up in the future if they do go the dual-mono route.

My review of the Dignis case. Fit and build is perfect. Leather smells nice lol. I have only one small complain. Once the case is fitted, I have no idea how to remove it as the fitting is just nice lol
