If I'm not mistaken, Solis 1.02 is just a tuning, so the firmware is the official 3.02 from Sony.

As far as I know, the remote function can only be used while the device is on the J region.

WM1A/Z+

This mod brings improvements to the sound on both WM1A and WM1Z, better battery life,
and allows switching your WM1A to WM1Z and back, or your WM1Z to WM1A and back.

How to: In order to switch the model after installing this firmware, use the Model Switcher v3.0,
and then install this firmware again.


WM1A to 1Z

This mod only enables switching your WM1A to the sound of stock WM1Z. This is intended for WM1A
only, but if you install it on your WM1Z by mistake, nothing wrong will happen.

How to: Install this firmware, then use the Model Switcher v3.0 to switch to WM1Z, and then install this
firmware again.


Important!
If you want to get back to the stock firmware, install the WM1 Back to Stock firmware. Before installing
this, make sure you switched your device to the original model, using the Model Switcher v3.0.

Spoiler: About Model Switcher v3.0

The model switcher is pretty straightforward.



Connect the player to your PC using the USB cable, enable the Mass Storage mode, and then choose the
model.

The player will restart. After restart, it's recommended to install your chosen firmware again (WM1A/Z+ or
WM1A to 1Z).

Spoiler: Additional info

If your player is on region J or on region U, you can go to "Settings", and then to "Certificate", in order to
check the current installed firmware.
