Oh Man! Things we do for incremental gains…now I understand how important are those icons in mobile devices.
Although I don’t perceive difference in 1Z with language change but hey no harm in trying…will continue to test.

Quick update on my journey with the WM1AM2:

The battery life while on airplane mode, regardless of using the music app or apple music in offline mode, is awesome.
As soon as I turn on the wifi to download music through Apple Music the battery seems to evaporate into thin air.

The sound quality through the 4.4mm plug and into the IER-Z1R more than makes up for the sucky “online” battery life.

Why buy the WM1ZM2/WM1AM2 to listen to music then? You can listen to music on your phone too by the way.

Why listen on Tidal or Qoboz, when you have Spotify and Youtube Music?

Why take photographs on DSLR when you have phone camera?

Why grind coffee beans and drip them when you can drink instant coffee?

Why mod your Japanese car when you can buy a premade German sports car?

What Makes an Audiophile?

Does the battery go down while normal listening via Apple Music as well or only when you do download ?
Keep the screen off to save battery. I do use Apple Music from time to time and although it does drain the battery faster but we should get 10+ hrs of battery .

I'm using Nightjar Singularity as of now.
I will be on JP for a week or so and then will switch to EN and if there is a difference I will perceive it for sure.

Finally found android tag editor app that works:
Musicolet

Although the M2 Walkman doesn’t have a high performance soc, so you have to be patient if you are going to do mass tag editing with it.

That’s a very unique iem, both in its sound signature and its design.

It’s a single DD. I love the bass and mids. Treble is slightly muted as in the sparkle is missing from upper treble but so good for longer session.

I notice the difference between JP and EN language immediately on my ZX707. No difference however on the WM1ZM2 that I can hear..

Hmm..looks like WM1Z is already optimised to its fullest.

Curious despite my skepticism... do you need to reboot after changing the language? I'm just streaming from Apple Music and when the language switches and the menus flip, i don't hear any change in the music, nor any skips...
