I personally test it with
Nier : Snow in Summer (Orchestra version)
Genshi Yonezu : Umi No Yurei
Namie Amuro : Can you Celebrate
30 Seconds to Mars : The Kill
DJ Okawari : Your Love
Random Daft Punk
Fire Bomber : Holy Lonely Night
Tarou Hakase : Jyonetsu Tairiku

Yeah...towards Japanese stuff but I usually do my listening testing with those, if anyone wants to follow my suit =P
I see you like Macross 7 as well, really great sounding music in this anime.

My personal equipment testing music arsenal also includes these two tracks below. When played at higher volume levels, these two tracks really tests the capability of the equipment’s amplifier to sustain power draw whilst maintaining clarity.

Macross 7 and Macross Plus music I liked, every other Macross, they weren't bad but not good (ok to slightly above average) to me. I really like Macross 7 as a whole though. I just wished they released remastered version of these though as the CD themselves weren't exactly great quality (but did have good separation with the instruments)

I find that the DSEE Ultimate on the ZX507 does quite a good job at “real time remastering” of the macross 7 album. There’s definitely more excitement and groove to the music, instruments definitely have much more kick and punch.

I just can’t wait to hear Macross 7 album on the 200hours fully burnt in WM1AM2 DSEE Ultimate.

i'll be enjoying the aging like I did with WM1A (M1). For me, it took me about 400 hours to start "not" noticing the changes.

Surely there are wm1a/z users who believes that the aging is a continuous process with no end. The more hours used, the better it sounds.

it might be true and different per person as anything audio. for me, I haven't really heard any difference, or at least noticed it enough past 400 hours-ish. I probably have about 5000 hours now (dont know exact hours now because of few times firmware flash, which looses the hours)

My Twitter timeline is spammed with new M2 every day...

It feels like I'm the only one who haven't gotten it yet. At least 5 people got theirs yesterday

Something like this might be another way to import if willing to take the risk:

Edit:
Found some thoughts compared to zx507:

I love the broke. English of the translation of that review.

Referencing EDM, ‘Other than that, it bites into the brain’

So I’m summary the 1AM2 offers a more immersive sound than the 507, with more dynamics to boot but man that thing is a lot bigger than I anticipated! Compared to my A105 it’s huge!
