The battery life will depend a lot on your DSP usage. Even with DSP enabled, you should be able to last a whole day of offline usage.

I'd say it depends even more on how much you use the display.

I wish I could buy the Sony Just Ear CIEM, I'm so ready to leave this hobby.
Last thing I remember
I was running for the door
I had to find the passage back
To the place I was before
"Relax, " said the night man
"We are programmed to receive
You can check out any time you like
But you can never leave!"

I had a crazy dream about that song few nights ago....

Huge difference between a demo unit with 11ish hours on, and my personal unit with 200+ hours. The demo unit was much enclosed but still superb.

Apologies if this has been previously answered, but I could not find much feedback on whether or not there’s enough here to upgrade to from a Japanese 507?
My opinion, yes. The new generation of Walkmans is more "musical".
You can also consider the NW-ZX707, which is the upgrade to the ZX507 (Not the volume capped US, Canada, EU, Singapore versions. The ZX707, A300 are capped in these regions. The WM1AM2 is only capped in the EU)
Try at the store first, if possible.

Some users find no difference that matters to them. Others find major differences in the sound being more musical, involving.
A lot depends on what each person listens to/for in music, so there is no way to predict whether you will find the upgrade worthwhile.
Each person has their own specific requirements, so the best way is if you can listen before deciding whether you want to upgrade.

Greetings to everyone, after reading all 865 pages, I'm now seriously considering buying the AM 2. I also considered the ZX 707. I recently had the Shanling M8 which I really liked the sound of. I only sold it because it got too hot in the leather case and I put it in a breast pocket. It then switched off and I had to wait 20 minutes until it ran again. That was of course very annoying. Now I have a question: Has anyone compared the AM2 with the M 8 and can you tell me about the differences in sound? Many thanks in advance.

Have not used the M8 yet, but I am pretty sure that AM2 will be cooler than the M8 in daily use, and the battery is better, significantly in offline playback.
Does the Sennheiser IE 600 or the Sony IER M7 harmonize better with the AM 2??? Which one would you recommend to me?
The M7 is more neutral compared to IE600, but it lacks low-end dynamic properties although it is one of the top-class low-end quality BA IEMs. If I were you, I would pick M7 or M9 (used) with AM2.

Yes, I know that the AM 2 is as cold as a fish. That's why I have him on my list. I canceled the ZX 707. Ok, if you advise me, I will save a little more and buy the M 9. It's hard to get used things here and importing them isn't worth it because taxes are too expensive. But I think the AM2 also goes in a sound direction like the M8. Of course different, but it won't sound as sterile and dead as an Ibasso DX320 with the original amplifier card.
Just nice musically. Thanks for youe answer !!!
