well that's your opinion and let's not go there.
It's a fact. That is how electricity and audio works.

If you amplify 0010110 the result is 0010110

Because perfection doesn't exist and every electric circuit (any, no exception) inducts noise, you can never reach perfection (which is why you need LCs), but there is nothing thats closer to perfection than full digital amps.

Amplifying the digital signal is superior to converting it into an analog signal and amplifying that.

This is not an opinion, this is called science.

Not just are Full Digital Amps better than DAC+AMP, R2R DACs are, by far, the worst performing DAC on the market. Scientifically proven by several independent measurements.

Every other DAC from any other manufacturer (AKM, ESS, Cirrus), performs better

R2R is an trend for the audiophiles who owns everything and is bored and needs something new

I'll let you know as soon as I get it. Only just placed the order today.
i am very interested how others manage their playlists in terms of avoiding duplications.

scenario:
- add 10 albums
- add 100 individual songs from previous playlists from other devices etc.
= some songs are doubled - 1x on an album, 1x as an individual song

so when scrolling across albums, one might see an album 2x - 1x the full album and 1x with only 1 song in it (which is a part of a playlist)

for an "optimized" playlist: on my laptop, i go into the sdcard, delete the single song, open the playlist file, search for this particular song and change the folder where this song is (from the individual song to the one in the full album).

is there a more efficient way?

What you say about digital amp is a fact.

"R2R is an trend for the audiophiles who owns everything and is bored and needs something new" - This is an opinion. :)

Measurements might indicate that R2R is a worst performing DAC. But a DAP, DAC or AMP is preferred by each individual on how it sounds to them (the music file, the quality of recording of the music files, the iem that they pair it with, etc.). What works for one might not work for another. Hence the various options

A spot on opinion though... in my opinion

Lots of people buy multiple Shoes, Bags Watches... retail therapy & treat yourself thinking.

I don't drink, smoke, do drugs or spend a fortune on fashion or sports. A new DAP/IEM's/phone/computer is my treat every now and then.

I returned 2 r2r dacs: lack of details. Simple as it is.
wow which R2R DAC did you use? there are several companies making R2R DACs.
I have Sony WM1Z and I bought it with my own money so I have no bias here but are you telling me that this DAP is giving me more details than my Sonnet Pasithea?
I have owned Chord Qutest and TT2 as well in past and I have compared all.

I tend to think of R2R DACs as analogous to tube/valve amplifiers. Technically inferior, but some people actually like the sound. And that's OK in this hobby. :)

Which slow charging brick is the best? There have been conversations about charging bricks here but they all involved fast charging ones like Apple or Anker chargers. I am interested to know which slow charging brick is the best. Would it Apple's one too?
