Very amazing bass dynamics. Bass slams are super deep, lightning fast and super hard. You get to hear Taylor’s voice in perfect clarity in the mist of all the other background instruments and sound effects going on. This Walkman just keeps pumping continuous powerful sound energy to your ears without any imaging issues or unevenness in any of the frequency range. This is of course on a 103db/mW 20ohm 5 BA iem.
As far as I can tell, this ONLY affects 360 Audio files from Tidal etc. This does NOT add spatial effects to stereo files or streaming flacs. And if it does, it's a DSP, like any other DSP. The setting should have zero effect with Direct Sound on, regardless of IEM profile, unless you're playing Sony 360 Audio tracks.

Didnt get the chance to try previous versions, but these are just great fit/performance wise.Are you sure about that, AAC (iphone) vs LDAC @ 96kHz sampling 990kbps (Sony) surely the LDAC is a better option?From another space. Honestly I am sure. I feel the dap output is just too overhelming for these cans. But they do a great job with the lower codec. And NC is fantastic. Have all the WFs, but these are trully NC. Great product.
I very much look forward to the next iteration of the WF TWS. The XM4 is already so good! I'm sure the new NC and call quality tech will filter down.
