What a collection! I should still have a box full of LPs in my store room but I no longer own a player. Most of my music are CDs but I'm slowly moving to digital to save space in the house.
Do you still listen the LPs on player directly sometimes?
I’ve got the Rega P25 (their 25 year jubilee model from about 20 years ago) for lp’s and the Rega P78 specifically for the old 78 rpm records

I bought a Rega P8 and Parasound JC3+ last year for listening and ripping vinyl.

It is a lot of work but if you run a Vinyl recording through spectralayers it is possible to greatly dampen the pops and cracks from the format while maintaining the dynamics and warmth of the medium.

For people with the TA-ZH1ES and wonder how to connect the new NW-WM1AM2 and NW-WM1ZM2 it's fairly simple, a USB-C to micro cable will do the trick, I tested just now it worked perfectly

I could be wrong about the functionality, but I think the TA-ZH1ES is supposed to charge the NW-WM1A by using a special micro cable with an extra pin to the side of the micro connection.

Yes it does with that cable.

Hopefully Sony will release a USB-C to Walkman port cable to support the MK2.

Yes if it also have to charge the connected device a special cable would be required, for just dac functionality a usb-c to micro usb will do

Can someone who visited Sony store, please show pictures of Both 1Z and 1A boards side by side please

They are the same this time, no different caps or resistors - only different interconnecting wire and enclosure material.

I'm not familiar with Android DAP so my expectation can be really low compared to others. I think if I buy this I can be happy with it. It feels smooth enough as a music player. Creating database also faster but I didn't copy too many files. Switching between apps (Chrome/Walkman/Apple Music/Spotify) is quick enough. It is only a tad smoother than the ZX507 next to it so I don't know how it will hold up with huge music DB.
I tried USB DAC mode + MDR-Z1R to my Samsung Note 10+ and it works just nice. Driving power wise there is a tiny difference of 2-3 steps but I didn't A/B them. I think I can safely say that they are about the same.
Much appreciated!
