SONY NW-A30 SERIES

Does the NW-A35 (or other A series players) have any sort of limit on the number of files if can support in the internal databases?  I realize many are probably putting lossless and/or lossless hi-res on it, but if someone wants to put AAC files on it you could get many tens of thousands of files on one with a 200gB of 256gB uSDXC card.  Can it handle that?

i PUT that exactly only lossless like 12000 flacs but if i fill both my WM1A 128G chip and the 256G card i can get like nearly 20,000 flacs

In case you haven't gotten an answer I can confirm that a Sandisk Ultra 200gb sdxc will work with the A35.

Thanks @Aeolus426. I ended up getting 128gb Samsung Evo+ for $46 equivalent. No regrets. The 200GB one was a almost double the price (around $90) for just 60gb more.

i think sony deliberately crippled the OS of the A30 because the options you are having on the WM1A does not have it on the A35. the LR balance is nowhere to be found on the Output Settings for example, there are only three or four options on that menu, mostly related to DSD, which majority of the people do not need.

Any word on the US release of the NW-A35 & NW-A37HN?  Sony used the NW-A35 at CES last week for their multiple MDR-X1000 demo stations.  I thought it was a really slick player.  I didn't realize it was unreleased when I was playing with it until after CES otherwise I would have asked them about the release date at the show.  Worst comes to worse, some Head-Fi'ers can grill them at the NYC Can-Jam in a few weeks since Sony is exhibiting.
