sony mdr-v700 or sennheiser hd202.

I would not recommend either of the two. The V700 because it is overpriced and tends to break (sound wise it's geared more to DJs), the HD202 because it has some awful dips in the frequency response. I would suggest to look at these models for (halfway) portable closed headphones: HD201, HD205, AKG K81 DJ and Philips SBC-HP460. If they can be somewhat bigger, Sony MDR-V6 (but not the new "made in China" ones) and HD280, or if something mid-sized and fairly rugged is wanted, HD25-SP. If you want something specifically for DJ work, there are a couple respected models available from Technics and Pioneer as well.

between those 2?

The Sennheisers, because the Sony 700's are awful! I second the recommendation for 201s or AKG K81DJs though.
