I would like to know what to go for Fiio E12's or E17's??

personally i would go with E12 imo, its the best Audiophile grade fiio offers IMO

Unless the HTC One can pass a digital audio signal out it's USB port, the E17 would not be any better then the E12.
 
Aren't the Sony MDR1RBT headphones battery powered Bluetooth?
So they could not use the E12 or E17.

Yeah they are Bluetooth but will be using the headphone cable any suggestions on good quality grade headphone cables would be good to know too

With the Fiio E17, you have something that will also work (DAC & Amp) with computers (PC & MAC).
