M9 cant touch Z1R bass. Not even a fair comparison. It's one of the best DD bass I've ever heard. Unfortunately, Z1R suffers its mids... Planar bass is also one of my favourite. I had isine20 and cl2, its bass is phenomenal too.Can you specify more about 'your feel of bass' and 'air"? Also what characteristics DD has that BA bass cannot stack up to? Let's say M9 bass vs Z1R bass, anything apart from the rumble and depth of the Z1R?

I have been looking for experiences of using the Z1R cable with the M9, but didn't find any specific information.
Is anyone using this combination? And if yes, how does it perform in terms of sound and fit/comfort?

Have you received the m9 yet? How does it compare to the 4ss?

I am not particularly sensitive to hiss, but FWIW did not notice on my desktop Corda Rock which IIRC has 4 or 5 ohms in low gain setting.
No need to worry about hissing. M9 is a solid iem. Not like campfire iems at all. It's build for stage etc. It has pretty solid zero hiss on any sources.Would be great to know, if M9 produces perceptible hiss on high-output sources, a.e, n6ii A01/E02. Please share your experience.

Does anyone know the part number for the ML hybrid ear tips? Those are the ones with the turquoise stem.

My M7's don't hiss on my ZX1,ZX300 ( S-Master HX Class D amp), where lot of others IEM's were reported hissing.

ZX300 has a very good noise floor - even Campfire Audio stuff doesn't on it.

I couldn't find the black model, but you can get the Z1R ML: https://sony.encompass.com/model/SONIERZ1R (page 2)

It produced hiss on my Burson Audio Play. Not audible when playing music but very much audible with no music and even quiet passages. I got a Jotunheim which is low OI and no more hiss.Would be great to know, if M9 produces perceptible hiss on high-output sources, a.e, n6ii A01/E02. Please share your experience.
