It was so time taking. Stainless steel is hard to metalworking, cables plait is time-absorbing. Everything must be done properly. It took me about 5 hours from scratch. How? They look awesome.
I'm glad you like it

You can easily extend with a $1 extension cable or even turn the J Cable to the conventional Y cable orientation with some tape or Cord Sleeve Winder Heat Shrink Tube and patienceHi all, I've been looking at the Sony MH1C because I have a pair of MH755, and the short cables are killing my neck, and I'm too dumb to recable it on my own. Plus, it seems the MH1C is an upgrade to it with better mids while still being cheap. I read through the forums, and tried to look for places that sell it, but I've only been able to find one link for it. Anyone has any experience with this seller, or might have an alternative where I can get it cheaper? Thanks!

Thx for the info. I'm aware of the extension cable, but I also wanted a functional mic to go with my earphones, which the 755 doesn't have unfortunately. I actually saw that the MH1/C has better detail and better mids, but that the quality control isn't that good... I'll try to look more into the shrink tube thing though. My apologies for my lack of knowledge in this, as I'm quite new to the world of IEMs...You can easily extend with a $1 extension cable or even turn the J Cable to the conventional Y cable orientation with some tape or Cord Sleeve Winder Heat Shrink Tube and patience
Also the popular favorites still the MH750/755 as many will attest they have better mids and way less fatiguing overall, do you own the MH1/C ? not great for long commute sadly , I've 2 versions and I agree with the masses on that too, but everyone's sound preferences are different and some kind of unique, so finally, go with your ears if you already made some A/B/C Comparisons
There's a guy on UK eBay selling the MH750 with a re-cable inc. mic. I've bought a pair from him and they are genuine.Thx for the info. I also own the AKG/Samsung bundled IEM and the mic on it pales in comparison with the awesome mic that comes with the MH750, Just buy the MH750 as it is and you have 1.) Durable long cable with Mic 2.) SS that punches above higher priced IEMsThere's a guy on UK eBay selling the MH750 with a re-cable inc. mic. I've bought a pair from him and they are genuine.

That mesh looks fake, Sony uses tuning foams. (entirely black.)A seller on Amazon is selling MH750's for under £3
Real or fake?
That mesh looks fake, Sony uses tuning foams. (entirely black.)
yes, the tuning foams that sony uses would definitely help in that regard. Since that (fake) units mesh looks like it doesnt have much damping in it.they sound quite brittle, harsh and nowhere near as much bass extension
101% genuine, center air vented, Type: AG-0500 Mfg in 2015,A seller on Amazon is selling MH750's for under £3
Real or fake?
101% genuine, center air vented, Type: AG-0500 Mfg in 2015,
Different H/W variations from circa 2012-2021
also the 0500's Mesh is darkish Black/Grey with a a white spot , the seller's camera is distorting the color in some ways due to reflections and not showing the exact hue and shades
But beware, some sellers show images of authentic but swop out and send fakes instead , but always submit a full refund request without fear to penalise and ban them if they do so
Some of the earlier ones had that thinner white center mesh. And given thats a 2015 build date, it looks legit. That mesh looks fake, Sony uses tuning foams. (entirely black.)
I'm a bit underwhelmed by them tbh. The mh755 I have sounds great to me and even though it's a bit of a minefield, i was hoping for the mh755 with longer cable. Some of the earlier ones had that thinner white center mesh. And given thats a 2015 build date, it looks legit.
