Just finished my mh755 mmcx mod. Not perfect but good enough for a first attempt.

Spoiler: Imperfections

I did some cosmetic damage to the housing on one and the mmcx connector on the other.

Modded mine. The space inside the shells got a little smaller so the bass leveled down a bit, but may still pass most basshead's preference. I like it better than the stock's sound. Vocals sounds like a bit lifted and more upfront.

For future reference, which mmcx connector did you use?

I got it from RY Earphone Store on Ali.
It's actually quite nice, however above the splitter the cables are a little prone to tangling. I guess I'll use a chin slider next time.

Well, the main reason I did the MMCX mod didn't quite work out as I hoped. They don't quite want to stay in my ears as well as I would like.

I'm happy with a straight recable on these as they are so light. The weight of mmcx connectors just pull them out of my ears.

QUAVO - BIGGEST ALLEY OOP has insane bass rumble on these, crazy!

I am constantly surprised at how good these are, I have spent the day going through my library listening to random tracks and damn they sound so good.

Honestly, these make Apple EarPods sound bass anaemic. I use Apple EarPods when I can't use isolating earphones.
