None of my pairs have an imbalance.

Are you sure you got genuine ones? Have you looked at the drivers to verify?

It could also be your foam causing the imbalance:
  • If the foam is in 1 nozzle a little deeper than the other side
  • 1 foam piece is cut a little different size than the other
  • If the foam is a little more smooshed on 1 side, making it more dense
I removed the foam in all my sets, which might be why I don’t have any imbalance.

Or it could just be a QC issue with your particular pair. What did the seller say when you contacted them?

@Slater u are right the foam inside the nozzle blocks the volume causing imbalance LOL ... I removed it gentle way without removing the mesh its all good now thanks very much.. didnt know the foam was causing it.. still dont know if they are genuine but I am afraid to open it but they sound good for me still testing it with some songs maybe gonna buy some backup pair.

about the sound from sony mh755 the mids are good instrument seperation is good too ... but soundstage isnt that big which is a bummer but it isnt small either can say they are above average ... bass is moderate even boosted with eq they have some subbas too.. I can spot some nice details in particular songs which is nice and no peaks or treble issues

and btw they are hard to drive so consider that when buying for smartphones for example

Got my 2 pairs from eBay seller macpart168 today. They seem to be original and sound pretty good.

Haven’t popped shells to check drivers yet, but I’ve measured them.

Graph looks good and I enjoy them very much. They are definitely one of the best sounding budget IEMs I got.

Will try MMCX mod with one. And the other one will get reshell into QKZ VK3 shell. Hopefully my mods will be successful :)

That one probably needs additional tweaking and re-build.

That’s the fun :D
Have you tried VK3 shell already? I have them but haven’t opened them yet.

Easiest way to get the shell open is to pry the shell apart where the bass vent is. I used a thin and pointy metal scratch awl. The shell is very thin plastic with very little glue, and will pop apart easily.

No, not VK3 yet cuz I have many ZS3/ZS4 shells gethered for modding. Currently MH755 sit in ZS4 shells but need tuning with nozzle grills or maybe completely different nozzle like I did with ZS3 mod.

Hello, i'm very new to this recable thing. Loving my MH750, do you have any wire recomendations? (cheap ones)

I use KZ braided cables. They’re cheap and easy to work with.

For example, the BA10 cable is copper. There’s also other upgrade cables - iron grey, bronze, and silver. With or without mic. You can keep the ear memory wires and wear the Sonys ‘up’, or remove the ear memory wires altogether.

You can buy the cables on Aliexpress for around $2-$4, or they come stock with many KZ IEMs.

I'll be getting a ex600 as well to add to my Sony collection

congratulation. If I had to choose 1 of the best value iem in the world of all time, i would choose EX600. Priced like chifi, Quality like TOTL, in fact they're in the same league as EX1000, i keep wondering nobody mention about this little beast. They're flatter, but easy to EQ if you want the subbass to be bigger. Their bass is 1 of the best textured bass like the EX1000, or almost same in sound quality, despite using plastic housing. Just the EX1000 is more dynamic, they have attack power, while EX600 is more natural and flat, studio reference type, but really easy to EQ. I own both EX600 and EX1000. once again congratulations. Hey, its not belong to sony budget actually :D

I noticed that ex600 graph is almost same as the ex1000 graph , difference is bass slightly less and treble slightly more.

less bass less treble i said (notice that 6khz and 8khz attack on EX1000), less shouty, less dynamic. but still all in good sound quality. I would say a relaxed or flatter version of EX1000. But i always EQ up sub bass for EX600, they have nice deep textured bass but quantity is low

755 recabled with OFC copper braided cable. I also added a chin slider bead, and color coded channel identifiers because the stock L/R is too hard to see.

Mmmmm
