For those that have the 72X/82X series, how is the cover art looking for you? I have embedded 450x450 resized HQ cover art from the iTunes Store and they manage to look like pixelated crap on the Sony, but clear as water on my iPod Touch.

Looks pretty good to me.
When I use the zoom cover art function so it almost fills the screen it looks nice and detailed.
I use tag&rename to grab cover art off Amazon and embed it in the mp3's. Some albums like Metallica's black album or Dr. Dre 2001 that have all black covers look a little grey-toned, but that could be down to the original from Amazon, I don't know for sure.

Hey, regarding the album art, my friend who has a Sony A818 is having troubles getting album art to show up at all for his songs. He says he's using MediaMonkey to get the pictures and put them on the player, but they still don't show up. For those who use MediaMonkey to put album art on any of Sony's new players, what are the steps to doing this?

I just got a A728 today after much reading. the sound is really full with supplied earphones. with my Im716 it sounds really thin and weak (it might be faulty earphone).

anyhow, i expected this thing to be a bit more heavier. it feels like a soup cracker. it does not have much customization nor features (i like the sound quality very much). It would be really cool if this little guy had a higher resolution screen.

my initial impression: feels and looks cheap, good sound.
