Sound Bores = 1 or zero, it really depends how one defines a sound bore.
Hard to explain, easier to see, but what I did was added a second floor to the CIEM, and had the sound ports of the BAD shoot directly in to the bottom floor of the CIEM. This then directed the sound on out to the canal portion of the CIEM, which then directed the sound on in to the ear canal.
Savy? If not, try to imagine the Westone CIEM, they place a floor at the top of the canal area and then connect the tubes to the floor. I used the same concept, but I just raised the floor, (extended it) and had the TWFK BADs point vertically in to the floor.
The DTECs I had a chamber made for them, with a port that ran in to the second floor.
It was a fun project, not to be repeated.
