I have had one negative opinion from a HiFi dealer who was very dissapointed with the performance at the price point. The handful of reviews that are available and praise it as end game are hifi publications. I won't elaborate. It's good to get different views, as very few owners have given there opinion as it seems so scarce in the headphone community. Good that you are still enjoying it!!

As long as u are using a high quality outboard DAC, I don’t think you have anything to be disappointed about. It sounds really good to my ears. Work wonder on variety of headphones including the HD800, Susvara. And Empy. Low impedance phones sound awesome too.

It seems that mixing the amp & DAC in the same unit rarely works, One or the other is TOTL but rarely both. So your best to have separate an awesome amp & awesome DAC, as long as the synergy is 100%?

The amp section is awesome on this one. The DAC is good but not great. Remember that the DAC is based on the ESS9018 so that’s already 5 years old.
