I didn't deserve these headphones at the slightest. But to make you feel better, most people think the GS-1000s are overpriced.

But I've always wanted Grados, and I've been lusting for their past and current flagships (PS1, HP1000/2, GS1000, and so on). Your GS1000s certainly weren't overpriced on your end. How do they sound, by the way?

So close its not really something I wish to separate. Though I'm looking for a CD player, likely will be worth more than the table and receiver combined.

I'm interested to see what the most expensive component averages out to be. I predict the headphones will be pretty high on that list.
