I had a driver failing from my simphonio dragon 2+. got a replacement, it had driver failure again after a few months. This earbuds break because of subbass (not EQed) I have plenty of others earbuds, none broke the way those did. That is disappointing because they sound quite good otherwise.

My 2+ still ongoing, though I mostly use it as is at diffuse field.
(I think that is its target)
But sometimes I do EQ the bass quite extremely up. Never clipped. (nor distort!)

Did you ever find more info about the RX10? Just saw a review from AudioLevels but I think that's about all there is. Well, there's Crin's chart and someone's first impressions but that seems too much under the radar for this promising IEM I'd say? Tnx...RX10 looks interesting

Tnx... The Dark Sky has too much of a bass shelf for me from reading and comparing charts and the Acoustune seemed a bit all over the place in the highs I thought. But the Isabellae is definitely on my shortlist, which now consists of (order by price):No I didn’t find more info but always comparing FR graph finding similarities with other IEMs.

Extremely interesting products I think but little media coverage except for the Zen (and soon enough the Zen Pro and FD7).

Great selection, DMAGIC and Turi should have less bass than RX10 but play also in another league

I'm telling myself that the $700 price difference would amount to $200 per year if held for 3.5 years, making it only $0.50 per day more...Great selection, DMAGIC and Turi should have less bass than RX10 but play also in another league
Can you imagine a better investment in quality for $15 per month?

i'd chose Dmagic over Turi if you don't want basshead level

Doesn't look like it on a chart - although they can be deceiving:i'd chose Dmagic over Turi if you don't want basshead level

I guess I'm late to the party as usual, but I just picked up a Simphonio Dragon 3 and these earbuds are killer! Over the last few months I have been building an earbud collection to go alongside my headphones and IEMs. In that time I have tried many of the most highly recommended buds out there and have put together a decent collection. The Dragon 3s are right up there with the best sonically. Just an excellent sounding earbud for sure!

Have anyone pick up and own the original dragon 2(not the 10th anniversary edition) I found them pretty interesting at the price of 45$ so can you give me your impression on it , as currently now they are on the way to my doorstep from china.
