I personally prefer the look of the Omega stand however i was wondering if this stand would stretch the EarSpeakers plastic headband?

Sieveking Sound Omega or STAX HPS-2 Headphone Stand for STAX SR-L700 MK2?

I don't have STAX and I agree the Sieveking looks quite nice, but in general I would be more concerned about long term pad compression. I use stands from K&M and Gravity. They're well-made but cheapish, probably not appropriate for STAX, but they support the headphones by the top strap and the rest of the headphone hangs freely. The K&M has a rubber platform that supports the top strap better, the Gravity stand just has a flat surface a couple of inches wide.
Another alternative might be the ZMF stand, it's available in beautiful woods, no surprise given his gorgeous headphones.
The search feature here is constantly broken and I can't find it, but there was discussion on headphone stands and several of us posted pics.
