The terrible heat that we had this summer has driven me deeper into iems and buds. Looking forward to "headphone weather."

That is probably why my air conditioning bill is so high LOL

And I never had air conditioning in S.E. Michgan nor here in the UK.... it is rare here in homes. Ours is not really suited to attempt to install it.

In four more years, hopefully I will get out of the crappy state of Illinois and head to the desert of Washington state on the Columbia River. I love the dry heat.

I hate any kind of heat. I miss snow! We sometimes get an inch or two and the whole country shuts down.

Dry heat seems to help my arthritis feel better. It is a wonderful family trait I rather would not have inherited. Humidity makes me ache everywhere.

Oh man, all this talk about summer heat. I know how everyone feels. I can't stand it. I have a naturally high body heat, and I literally overheat in the summer. Where I live, the humidity is super high as well, and it is 30 degrees or hotter almost every single day. It does not make for an enjoyable headphone experience. For me, 20 degrees celcius is even too hot. My perfect temperature for not needing a jacket is like 10-12 degrees. In the fall, I don't use any sweaters or jackets at all.

18 degrees Celsius which is 65 degrees Fahrenheit is my favorite temperature LOL

The 1540s have been out for quite some time. I have to wonder when their successor will appear on the stage. I would say my 1540s easily get most of my listening time.

I purchased my SRH1540 headphones at Moon Audio. I took time to write a review, since I loved these headphones so much from the beginning. My review is called, "Creamy butter."

Not mine either... In any case I followed the mod @Yevgen Chupak mentioned a few months ago. I strapped it around the old headband and it works like a charm.
