They are still readily available in NZ. Just had mine replaced after 2 months when the logo faded. Distributor of Shure dispatched out a new set for me within the week...it's labeled as SPE in NZ as opposed to LTD or SE.

Quite surprised that it's come to an end...the difference between standard and limited is minimal from my honest impression. Bit more oomph on the bass but you still realise that it's SE215 in all it's other characteristics. The cable length made sense but have since upgraded anyways.

Not worth the upgrade at all up from standard SE215. Would be interested to actually know what actual changes were made between the two variants.

Is it possible to still buy a legit SE215 LTD anywhere? Thanks.

It is still easily obtainable in Asia under the model name SE215SPE ( = special edition). You can find them on eBay but I'll suggest you get one from Japanese seller instead of Chinese seller, as it is one of the most counterfeited Shure model in China.
