Anyone here tried them with non Shure IEMs/buds?

As expected, the TW1's were perfect. Pairing with s10+ was instant, and it easily drove the attached 846's.
I hear no loss of audio quality, these match corded note for note. If you can afford them, kiss your BT2 goodbye.

Is anyone else showing a 10% battery gap between the right and left side?
After 1 hour showing 87R / 97L.

Yes, the right earpiece discharges faster. It handles the communication with your phone and passes data to the left earpiece. The left earpiece just receives data from the right. It has less work to do.

I thought that was the case but assuming is very bad.
Thanks.

Is it still the case that calls are mono?

Yes they are. That’s the main downside to these.

Technically calls are always mono... but most headsets play the signal over both sides. The TW1 does not... to me it doesn’t matter since I don’t use it for calls anyway Because isolating earpieces give me a resonance while speaking that I really dislike (prefer the simple AirPods for that, and use only the right one of them incidentally). But yes, it’s something to consider...Is it still the case that calls are mono?

Using Shure's PLAY app, you can adjust the volume (and even disable) notification sounds. Tap on the ellipsis icon near the top right of your connected TW1.

You could also try changing which pair of IEMs the TW1 thinks are connected. For example, it seems like setting it to SE846 lowers the overall volume of the TW1, given the SE846 have very low impedance.

Thanks! But the lower volume option is only for voice prompt not the music tight? Ya it is still loud using 846 profileYou could also try changing which pair of IEMs the TW1 thinks are connected. 846s have more depth a s soundstage, but would say that are as defined as with the cable? To my ears at least.

Hi Guys
Good to be on here. I shifted from the BT2 to the TW1 a few days ago and i must say it is an upgrade in more ways then one. The sound feels more engaging, comfort is way better. Bluetooth range is better. The BT2 used to miss connection once in a while while biking as my phone was in my pocket. Never happened with the TW1. Environment mode is a super addition. Overall with the 846. Super Combination.
Still on 7.9.4 and absolutely no issues. Loving it
