Yes EQ can be applied to anything you play through the LDAC codec. And yes v2 also needs some EQ to sound great. Can someone that owns the new V2 version (I own the V1), confirm if the the EQ can be applied to LDAC codec?, with the V1 version the EQ gets disabled when LDAC is in use, and I find them to be right on the mark with EQ, without i, at least for me, they are a bit shouty (I'm talking about the V1, I have no experience with V2).
Regarding the question about the earpads on the post above, they seem to be visually equal, but they seem to be sold under different part numbers, so maybe something is different, maybe the mounting rings?, just guessing.

EQ is stored on the headphone since some rather early update to the V1 already, so V2 should do that as well. If V2 is able to apply that EQ to LDAC streams though I don’t know. V1 seems to have had some kind of computing capacity issue with that task, maybe they upgraded that chip. Thanks, so you mean hardware eq, not through the app, using it as player.
Correct, I was playing tracks from Amazon music app connected through LDAC and the EQ got appliedThanks, so you mean hardware eq, not through the app, using it as player.
