Does anyone know if upgrading the cable for the shure 215 is a good idea, I found that Null Audio has the Lune series cable upgrade for all the shure iem. http://www.null-audio.com/store/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=65&products_id=219 Any idea if they would sounds better than the 315 or 425? or upgrading the cable is a waste of money, better off getting the higher models?

I would always upgrade my headphones first before getting anything else like cables.

Let's say your 215s are driven at 100% potential from your DAP (probably and hopefully).
Upgrading the cable will be like trying to find an extra +/- 10%, while getting a better set of headphones would be jumping to 150%, 200%, and so on.

In other words, your money would bring about a much bigger SQ improvement when it's spent on a better headphone...

alright thanks buddy i was already thinking of getting eytomic or the westones. Still thinking though because i just bought a new pair of shure 1440.
