Looks very nice.  Seems like it's time for a roll down screen and Sony 4K projector with the size of that display. :)

For sure. The 37 inch Panasonic was at the time of my purchase the largest set I could get in the space which originally was designed for 35 inch tube set. Recently, I discovered the latest Sony 43 inch 4k set will fit this space so I might upgrade to one. I've tried projection but the results  have not been compelling enough for the expenditure since I mostly use my system for music while working at my computer.

Yeah, no judgement. My entertainment center for my home theater has a 46 XBR HX929, which is the largest that will fit, while we have a 55 Samsung 4K in the bedroom, LOL

It's strange that not even Sony seem to know what ES stands for. I used to blame people for referring to as Esprit to their Sony ES as there were only a few true Esprits in the 80s, but I recently saw some Sony catalogues from mid 90s with Sony clearly stating Esprit near their ES gear. This again got me confused, but I suppose it was a marketing move.
In some older catalogues from the 80s I also noticed "Extremely high Standard" mentioned near ES components.

My Sony STR-DA9000ES went archly & sparkly one week ago.  Tough decision whether to repair to buy a replacement.  This behemoth set me back over $1300 used a few years ago. Excellent sound however.

Sony ES means Sony Elevated Sound. The phrase appears in the earliest product catalogs for the line.
