That Link outfit is adorable. Gracie is the only dog I've met that likes to dress up (albeit for short time frames), she runs around happy as a lark for a bit, up and down the halls to show off, then when she is done she shakes back and forth and we take it off. Every other dog we've had just gives us a look like "Really?!? You guys are crazy, don't leave me in this" The Thundershirt is different though, that seems to be universally appreciated during bad weather and fireworks.
Chopper fits the descriptor of rescue and I'm glad you were there to take the little guy in. Gracie was kept outside in a makeshift wood "shack" in Kentucky before being rescued by a loving soul that drove her all the way back to Maryland. She is still scared of being outside, loud noises, men, and flashlights twelve years later. She's gotten better though, and we give her lots of love every day. Like you said @Podster you can really tell they appreciate their new life, so if anyone likes to feel loved and needed... adopt!
