I want something stylish and also something that doesn't leak sound like grados but I also love rock and roll and many people reccomend the grado's. They also say that the m50's are the most versatile sounding headphones. So which should I get grado sr80's/the m50's. (I have a fiio e5) These would be my first real audiophile headphones and given that which would be the more perfect choice.

I don't think Id call the M50 versatile.  Its more suited toward bass heavy music imo.  Any open phone is going to leak but they generally sound better at a given price. If your looking for a closed can in the pricerange of the M50 Id go for the SRH440 or DT250 (80 ohm).  If looking open MS-1 for rock or DT440 for more versatility.

Unless you mod the SR-80 the M50 is going to be far better. I just hope you like a lot of bass, if not, then the SRH-440 or 840 is a good option. I have not heard the 440, but I imagine it's similar to the 840 and a bit cheaper.

More m50 threads? people cant read the 10 on the first page?  sr80 and m50 have totally different sound signatures and one isnt really better than the other.  It's all a matter of personal preference and music taste.  If looks are that important to you go with m50. the grados look silly and aren't for public wear due to their open air design.

I also suggest looking into shures.
