Should I get my ms2i's magnumized or should I get HE-500's?

Should I get my ms2i's magnumized or should I get HE-500's? We got them in at the store I work at, and the cost price is 60% of the retail price.
 
After listening, I really really feel like getting them. They have the new silver cable by the way. Can anyone tell me the differences they've heard between it and the previous bulky one? I'm very curious to know.

interested to know as well! was thinking bout getting magnums, but ever since hifiman cut prices, i was thinking of getting a he500.

this is a quasi comparison, but i upgraded from grado 325is to lcd2, and the lcd2 is in a completely different league of awesomeness.

the he500s are also orthodynamic like the lcd2s and should be in the same class.

If I were you I would jump on the opportunity to get the HE-500 with that price. If you won't be satisfied you'll be able sell them for a price higher than what you got them for and earn from it.
 
If you buy the HE-500 you'll have two different sound signatures to choose from for different genres/moods.
