hey guys, looking for a good method to shorten the headphone cables length.
trying to use my ms1 as portable headphones also but the only thing holding me back is the length of the wire is LONGGGG.
is there any safe alternatives to shorten the wire? im looking for a twisting method, no cutting. i found this
YouTube - How to shorten that long cord.
but im not sure if it would harm the headphones plus its to dark to even follow what the guy is doing.

Wrap it around something? The cord for the MS-1 is really quite thick; it would probably be best to use some other portable headphone that's closed so you don't destroy your ears or bother anybody else when going portable.

I do the same thing. Just go to Home Depot and pick up a pack of velcro ties for $5, they work awesomely, plus, they're useful for other crap too.

heh, no, that's nto what I meant. Big loops, like the way it ships. Tight bends can damage the wires long term. If you want different handling characteristics, you'll have to recable them with wires that fit your needs better
