Ok, I just turned it on with the crown button with and without the SD Card, both cases it's just stuck at the loading logo.

Hey @Shanling - I tried to use the UA5 with Q1 last year and it doesn't work properly. It will freeze up or shut down if I remember it correctly. Is this due to low voltage or something? Also, since I tried to use UA5 with Q1, Q1 freezes up randomly on start-up, sometimes during use. I did remove the SD card and performed factory reset a couple of times but no change. FW version is 2.2. Any recommendation for me?

Hello, i just tried to update from 2.0 to 2.2, and display says update failed. And it stuck in bootloop. Can you help me please?

I think that if you hold the ‘NEXT+PREV’ buttons while powering on the Q1 it should run the built-in recovery.

This should allow you to update again. Maybe try a different SD card, different firmware version or download the firmware update again.

Tried that but still nothing, update failed and then rebooted. I tried using FW v1.4 and 2.2 provided by official web but still no changes

finaly i solved the "update failed problem", maybe this solution can help others who experience the same issue. and maybe is also possible for other shanling devices

1. identify which firmware you are from, in my case it was 2.0. which is not available in official website
2. extract Q1 Firmware V2.0.zip
3. open update.bin with 7zip
4. open the firmware-v0.tar.gz, you'll find recovery-update folder. right click the folder and copy to, choose your microsd root
5. insert the microsd into shanling q1 and turn it on
6. voila the firmware is back

and for @Shanling maybe its best to keep all the links of firmware variants alive
