There is no change to our distribution in Canada, still no official distributor or dealers.

Are you working on getting a distributor for Canada? I only ask because Fiio, Cayin, Hiby, Sony and Astell & Kern don't seem to have a problem with Canadian distribution. If they can find distributors why can't Shanling? So it turns out that Urban Inspirations is in Niagara Falls New York and selling on amazon.ca so they must have a shipping address in Canada for Canadian orders. They are currently only selling the M2X, perhaps they could sell the Q1 for you in Canada on amazon.ca. Especially since Musicteck doesn't seem interested in dealing with Canada.

Headfoneshop in Toronto is still selling the M5S though at a very high price. Is Headfoneshop an official Shanling dealer? Perhaps they could sell some Q1's for you on a special order basis, just a thought.

Good reviews, I have waited a long time but it does not appear the Q1 will ever make it to Canada. Even Musicteck Shanling's so called US distributor doesn't want to ship to Canada and charges a crazy amount for shipping. Until Shanling finds a new distributor for Canada I can't consider purchasing their products.

What's the shipping like to Canada from hifigo or linsoul? There aren't any Shanling distributors here in the UAE, but then I got it through backing on Kickstarter.

I have had bad luck importing DAP's from China and the US is about as big a risk as I will taking importing product. Plus I want to make sure I get a local warranty, having dealt with warranty service from China as well not something I want to experience again. While the Q1 is a DAP I would like to own it certainly isn't the only option. There are several alternatives available locally. Perhaps if there are some price drops on Black Friday I might take a shot. That way if I don't like it for some reason I can sell it and not take a big hit price wise. I did this with my Fiio M7 purchasing a demo unit at $220 ($279 new) CDN and selling it 4 months later for $195.00

So I've had the Q1 for a while now, but there seems to be a problem withthe library. It will only accept the first 10k files, then stops updating.

Oddly enough, the M0 updates the library 100%.

Am I missing something?

Yes. I try it. I use and control music play on my phone, that is steaming (bluetoorh) to shanling q1 and then send it to mojo by cable.
I use hiby music app , tidal and UAPP and I can stream to shanling on ldac codec too. Check red and green light on mojo

Yes, Q1 can be used as USB transport in combination with Bluetooth or Wi-Fi streaming.

This is strange, as systems in M0 and Q1 should be updating library in the same manner.
Please which firmware version are you running? Did you tried factory reset yet?

Some of the arts are not displayed in my case, no matter if it's a .jpg or .png file inside the folder or the art is embedded in the music file.
Many of my album art have resolution higher that 1000x1000 to be clearly displayed on my PC - is the resolution too high for MTouch to handle?

Not really limited, at most it can slow it down.

But please check if they are not progressive jpg.

The problem is that png file also does not display at some albums.

EDIT: I have found out the problem (I think). The album art files larger than 1 MB are not displayed, no matter if it's jpg or png. Simple script to reduce the file size (most of my cover arts arehigh resolution pngs) and save it as simple jpg resolved the problem.

@Shanling I have a second question. Can I access my Q1 in WiFI transfer mode via Explorer or any GUI software to automate the file transfer (i.e. FreeFileSync)?
