Are there any hardware limitations why the latest HWA codec version (2.0?) can't be supported?

It seems that HWA implies in their press release that this should be possible, if so, is on the road map for the MW200 in a future firmware release?

At this time we do not plan to release LHDC update for MW200.

I found that there has been little support for the MW200. I moved on to AirPods Pros. Still have my MW200. I just don't use it. It just seems that the support for updating and improving this product is not a big priority.

My go-to travel case. Loads of space, and not a full on hard case yet, but quite close. Being using it way before I've got CIEMs.

These are simple Bluetooth devices, there is limit on what can be changed with firmware update.

MW200 received two firmware updates and we believe it's at stable stage.

Unless things have changed, the Shanling Controller is no longer available on the Apple web site, and it was never updated during the entire time I was using my MW200-even though I wrote about the problems with the program. It had a lot of promise. As far as I know, you need that controller to update the firmware.

As far as the MW200 itself, it started to exhibit audio/video sync problems- I have to restart it in order to get it back in sync. The people on the other side of a call said I sounded like I was speaking in a tunnel.

I believe, though I am not certain, these can be fixed through a software update in the unit. It just might also be that the bluetooth chip was wearing out.

Love the unit. It is just not my go to for listening now, and I have not keep up on things.

The manual update is only available for Windows. The needed Qualcomm software was not released for Mac.
You can do OTA update through Android. iOS do not allow it.

For the sync or whichever apps it remembers, that's more up to the software settings, not something that MW200 can really affect.

Currently only Eddict player app is supported, all other apps have been discontinued.

Thanks for your recommendation. There are some Geekria cases with thinner dimension. Is 1,5" thickness necessary?

Another perhaps stupid question ... when do I know the Shanling is fully charged? Is there any change in the LED's color?
