The secondary screen no longer works properly. Any idea what it could be?

The secondary screen no longer works properly. Any idea what it could be?
- Go to Developer options in System menu and look for "Secondary Screen full display". Turn it on, it will light up all pixels of the secondary screen.

- Leave the device overnight with the secondary screen turned on and check in the morning, if the situation improves.

If nothing changes and your device is within warranty, please contact your seller for warranty.

The secondary screen no longer works properly. Any idea what it could be?
I just had the same issue after switching on my M9 after some weeks I was not using it. Seconday screen not uniformly illuminated and very dim in some parts. Updating to latest firmware did not solve the issue. Same issue when activating the light of the whole secondary screen from developer options.

Tbh I kinda of gave up on m9, I don’t find the build quality up the then asking price (the cheap imprecise volume wheel and the freezes that occur after last couple of firmware updates being other issues)

Developer options???

The main screen has no problems.

I had the astell sp1000/sp2000 and I like the shanling better. I don't have warranty on it, I changed it to sp2000.

The secondary screen is not connected to the main screen? I don't use it that much, it doesn't affect me. Just in case, how much does it cost to change it? What screen model is it? Thank you.
It's a separate screen. We charge 25 USD for changing it.

Just curious, Frankie, is this for out-of-warranty repairs so customers can buy spare parts (screen, battery, etc.) for DIY repairs?
Yes, we partnered with Linsoul on this. So anybody who wants to repair their device themselves has easy access to the parts. It can do all things, apart from battery. Batteries unfortunately need to be done through us directly and with way too expensive shipping.
