Thank you for the response. Yes I struggled to download in the browser, and couldn't find the way to download the Play Store app. The issue was resolved!
Thanks a lot again.

Yes, when the M9 is plugged into a PC, swipe down on the screen from the upper right corner. At the bottom of the list of notifications you should see an option that says "Android System - Charging this device via USB. Tap for more options." Once you tap that menu item, you'll come to the USB Preferences Page. At the bottom are three radio options for "Use USB for": File Transfer, MIDI, and No Data Transfer. Select "File Transfer" and the M9 and any MicroSD cards installed should pop up in Windows Explorer--drag and drop.Is there a any way just to transfer the files from a computer to the M9 via USB or WiFi?
(confirmed that M9 is recognized as a DAC through USB connect at the USB mode on M9, though).
Thank you.
Mitch
Thank you very much! I could find USB setting by "find" command in the system setting, working well now, which makes easier than moving the SD card back and forth!Yes, when the M9 is plugged into a PC, swipe down on the screen from the upper right corner. someone in the M8 thread said the M9 sounds brighter with less bass to them. Anyone else find that to be true?
Tried DX320 out. The M9 just feels like a more premium player in hand. That 2nd LED displays still makes me smile. The volume wheel on the DX320 is terrific. It’s larger with tactile click when scrolling. I wish M9 had a better wheel. The sound signature is so different between the DX320 and M9. The former is airier but thinner sounding. M9 sounds more dynamic and very, very natural. DX320 just has enough digital glare to really bother me. Anyways, the 2 players aren’t even close to my ears. I’m not sure the other amps for the DX320 changes sound signature since I only had amp11. I need to try N8ii now. But hold on to your M9 guys. May not find one again if you sell it.
sounds like the m9 will be better paired with my ier-z1r in that case. Thanks for the thoughtful response.I had the M8 and now M9 and the tuning is quite different. M8 was very boosted in bass and lower mids with less extended treble and more intimate soundstage. This worked with some iems but less with others. M9 is more universal with pairing since it’s more neutral with a tinge of organic warmth. Also the soundstage is way more expanded in all directions. The bass still hits hard but it’s less over the top than M8. I would say M8 was a “specialist” dap while M9 is a TOTL.
I agre. Had the dx320 and sold it within 3 weeks after comparing it to my M17. I didn’t find it very natural sounding and it was quite forward in mids and upper mids. Soundstage was way smaller than M17 especially in depth. While M9 can trade blows with M17 (bit more organic and musical the M9, bit more technical and detailed with even deeper soundstage M17), DX320 to my ears it’s not in the same category of the other two. I also vastly preferred my previous dx300 with amp12 to dx320 with stock amp.
I also agree on the dx320 volume wheel to be better than the M9 one. But it’s the only thing I would save
I had couples of days to play with M8 before received M9. The sound M8 is very attractive to me (95% classical and 5% old jazz). Sound signature wise, I fully agree with HalanDaka, very warm with quite quantity of bass which make slight less sound image, clearness, and the speed. I personally prefer M9, which has higher technicality, yet maintains good musicality.I had the M8 and now M9 and the tuning is quite different. Card type doesn't matter with our DAPS, apart from some ancient 1-2GB models. Any normal 512GB or 1TB card should work just fine.Which SD card is the best for M9 and the max capacity?
I use Sandisk Ultra512GB, but some of the files can't be recognized.
(Those are read correctly by Hiby P6Pro and PS6, and turned off the filter for small size, and short play time, though).
Planning to buy 1TB.
